Open Day at the Béatrice-von-Wattenwyl-House
The Béatrice-von-Wattenwyl-House is a town mansion in the heart of Bern's Old Town at Junkerngasse 59. The building was the home of countless generations of the Frisching and von Wattenwyl families. Later, the building was given to the Swiss Confederation and since then it has been used by the Federal Council to receive guests and for political debates such as the «von Wattenwyl Meetings» that take place between the Federal Council and other party leaders.
The house can be visited free of charge, incl. the garden. Since there is only room for a maximum of 50 visitors at a time in the house, access will be controlled.
